One of the newest exhibits is the Northwest Passage, which features underwater viewing of polar bears, seals, and many penguins. After your done there go visit the Peruvian rain forests or Jamaican caverns, where the animals roam free. The zoo has some nice restaurants, shops, fountains and a farm discovery center called Once Upon A Farm with amusement rides for the kids.
The star exhibit of the zoo are the Zoo's Giant Pandas named Le-le and Ya-ya. Le-le and Ya-Ya are one of only four pairs of Giant Pandas in the United States (the others are in Atlanta, Washington D.C. and San Diego). Right now there are only about 1,000 Giant Pandas in the wild, so they are one of the rarest animals in the world.
