Then, at the NatureSpace, you can learn all about the vegetation and animals that make up the wonderful South Carolina environment through actual plant, animal and mineral specimens.

The hours that you can stop by to experience it for yourself are Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm and Sundays from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. There are regular closings on all of the major national holidays. Admission to the South Carolina State Museum is only $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $3 for children ages 3 through 12 and free for children age 2 and under.
