Whether you are planning to become a student or not, a trip to see the College of Charleston in South Carolina is a great experience. This is a wonderful institution that was founded back in 1770 and happens to be the oldest in the entire state of South Carolina. Actually, out of the United States, it is the thirteenth oldest. There are several historic structures on the campus that now stand today as some of the offices and student dorms. A visit to this campus can be an interesting time for your entire family or group.
There are many wonderful academic programs offered at the College of Charleston so that students may enjoy optimal learning. Some of the programs offered include Art History, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Early Childhood Education and much, much more. If you would like, you can schedule your very own campus tour. The tours are all guided by students and are offered year round. During the months of September through April, you can schedule a tour at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm or 2:00 pm on weekdays. When the summer months arrive, tours are only offered in the 10:00 am time slot.
