It is called the International Towing and Recovery Museum and it is probably a museum like no other that you have ever seen in your entire life. When you visit, you can get a chance to view all kinds of different and interesting exhibits to be enjoyed by automotive and history buffs alike.
When you walk through the museum, you can look at several restored antique wreckers and related equipment. There are also different displays of industry related items such as tools, collectible toys and unique equipment as well as interesting photographic displays of some of the manufacturers in this field. You should be sure that you bring your camera along with plenty of film so that you can snap photos of some of the awesome items on display.
The International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame and Museum is also a great place to visit with you entire family. Kids especially love to look at all of the trucks and equipment. As with the adults, the kids also love to check out the collection of the antique toy trucks where some of them even date back to the early 1900s.
The cost of admission to the International Towing and Recover Museum is only $8 for adults, $7 for seniors ages 55 and older, $4 for children ages 6 through 18, and free for children ages 5 and under. The hours that you may stop by are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am until 4:30 pm and Sunday from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm. The museum closes down on all of the major national holidays.
