The Rushmore Borglum Story, located at 342 Winter St. in Keystone, South Dakota, is a historical museum dedicated to the life and times of the famous sculptor and artist Gutzon Borglum. Though Gutzon is certainly best known for his work on Mount Rushmore, the Rushmore Borglum Story is dedicated to the life and times of the artist as a whole, covering in detail his work on the national monument as well as all of his other achievements.
When you are a visitor at the Rushmore Borglum Story, you will see countless artifacts from the artist's life, and you will have access to various films and other documents that tell his life story in full detail. Every exhibit within the Rushmore Borglum Story is referred to as a window, all of which are stuffed full of tons of information about the artist and the monument. At every window you have the option of hearing detailed information about the exhibit via the museum's wandsticks.
