Washington Pavilion of Arts and Sciences

Visual Arts Center
The Washington Pavilion of Arts and Sciences' Visual Arts Center hosts six galleries full of constantly changing exhibits. There is also a permanent collection, many pieces of which are located in the galleries on the second floor. The Raven Industries Children's Studio is a part of the Visual Arts Center where children ages 3-12 can create their own works of art for free. Admission to the Visual Arts Center is free, except for some special exhibitions.
Kirby Science Discovery Center
The Kirby Science Discovery Center at the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Sciences has a variety of exhibitions dedicated to numerous areas of science. The Air and Space Gallery include such exhibitions as a virtual hang glider and a simulation of the Mars Rover. In the Dynamic Earth section, you can watch how an earthquake affects a building or touch a tornado. In Nature Works, check out the live animal exhibits, including a working beehive. Admission to the DIscovery Center is $6.75 for adults and $4.60 for children.
CineDome Theater
The Wells Fargo CineDome Theater at the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Sciences is located in the Kirby Science Discovery Center. You can purchase movie only tickets, or combination tickets for a movie plus the Discovery Center.
