From the moment you step into the exquisite Victorian-style foyer, you will feel as if you have gone back in time, to a place where elegance and graciousness were the rule of the day.

Every member of the Beechwood staff, from scullery maids, butlers and footmen to the talented actors portraying the Astor family and other notables of the period remains in historical character, making it effortless to believe that you are actually visiting the Beechwood mansion in its heyday. For the past twenty-five years the Astor's Beechwood Mansion has been a historically accurate living-history museum, delighting visitors with real-to-life enactments of Roaring-Twenties high society. To add a little swing to the mansion, Larry Brown's Swinglane joins talented forces with the Beechwood Theatre Company to create an authentic, 1940s-themed dance party in the grand ballroom. Bring your best dancing shoes to jump and jive or just relax at the cash bar and enjoy the big-band sounds of Swinglane. Don't be surprised if you glance across the room and see Cole Porter smiling back at you.
