When you first walk into the Charleston Visitor Center, you are greeted with many great photographs that create somewhat of a timeline telling you all about the history of the area. It is quite interesting to see, as well as the map of the Charleston peninsula that lays at your feet, built right into the floor. Then, you can head into another room where you will find tons of great information.
This second room is considered the Brochure Room where you will find a multitude of brochures filling all kinds of racks. You can find out about all of the available attractions in the area, as well as great places to dine and stay. There are even friendly staff members that are more than happy to answer any questions that you may have.
