One of the points that happens to make this house so interesting is the original owner. People are generally amazed to find out that it was the home of a man named Thomas Heyward, Jr., who signed the Declaration of Independence.
If you are looking to plan a visit to the Heyward Washington House, the price of admission is $8 for adults, $4 for children 3 through 12 and free for children ages 2 and under. The times that the House is open for viewing are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm and Sunday from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
