This church was actually built way back in 1724 and is known to be one of the oldest churches within the United States that is still active.
A docent is available to give tours of St. Helena's Episcopal Church during the week. The times that are available for tours are as follows: Monday the church is closed and tours are led by appointment only, Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, and Saturday from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. During the tour you will be able to hear all about the wonderful story of the parish.
At St. Helena's Episcopal Church there is even a bookstore and library that you can visit that offers a large selection of bibles and other religious items. Here, you can also find great items such as greeting cards, artwork, gifts and sterling silver crosses. The store is completely run by parishioners.
