Construction of this park began back in 1983, not to be finished until nearly a decade later. The Charleston Waterfront Park is made up of approximately 12 gorgeous acres that run along the salt water marshes of the well-known Cooper River. Not only is this quite a lovely place to view, it is also a great spot to enjoy some wonderful relaxation while taking a break from all of your other sightseeing stops. The walking areas are all shaded by trees and the seating areas provide a nice way to stop and enjoy the area.
