The Empire State Building is one of the most famous buildings in New York history. When it was built at 1,454 feet tall in a little over a year, it was called the 8th world wonder. It is located south of Midtown far away from skyscrapers. If you go to this attraction, you will have a magnificent 360 degree view of your surroundings. The Observatory is located on the 86th floor, where people can get a breathtaking view of Manhattan. There are two restaurants, a sushi bar, three coffee shops, a post office, a Hallmark card shop, and two banks. It offers the New York Skyride, which is both a simulated helicopter ride and a virtual-reality movie theater. Many concerts are scheduled at the Empire State Building throughout the year, and it also has art exhibits that include items of King Kong.

The Statue of Liberty, officially called Liberty Enlightening the World, has been a national symbol of freedom and liberty for millions of Americans. When immigrants arrived in New York a long time ago, the enormous statue was the first image that they would see in this country. It was designed by Frederic-Auguste Bartholdi and was given to the United States by the French government. It was a gift for Americas 100th birthday, and it was to commemorate the alliance between the two countries during the American Revolution. There are 354 steps to the head of the Statue where you can get a captivating view of New York City. Tourists can do many other things on Liberty and Ellis Island besides going up to the Statue of Liberty. If it is a sight seeing bus, then you can feel free to take pictures while enjoying the moment instead of worrying about driving. You get to have contact with many people while experiencing firsthand how busy a city can get.
