The parish was founded in 1698 and the Trinity Church was built in 1726 it is said that George Washington worshipped here in Pew 81. The original organ is still in place brought from England, the world famous composer and musician Handel played on this organ before its arrival in America. The Church's claim to fame is the presence of the only three tiered, center aisle wine glass pulpit, the only one of its kind in America.
