The Newport Vineyard is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm with Sunday hours running from noon to 5 pm. Daily tours are given to the public at 1 pm and 3pm. If you are in a group of 10 or more and would like a tour, please call 401-848-5161 for more information and an appointment.
With the guided tours, visitors will travel through a course in the winemaking process, learn about wine appreciation and the vineyard history. The Newport Vineyard tour will begin outside if weather permits with a close-up tour of the vineyards where your guide will explain the growing and harvesting process of grapes. You’ll move onward, learning the winemaking process including an in-depth explanation of how wines area aged in oak barrels.
