The Children's Museum of Northern Nevada

This place, located on 813 North Carson Street, is quite possibly one of the best places in all of Carson City for any age group! There are all sorts of lively and entertaining exhibits as well as a ton of great things that you will have fun learning about.
While you explore the Museum, you fill find out all sorts of wonders having to do with the human body as well as how things work pertaining to science. Everyone enjoys the area where you can dress up in all sorts of different costumes and there is even a section where you can see what you will look like in front of all different types of distortion mirrors! There is also a great exhibit called Inside a Kaleidoscope, which you are sure to agree is quite a fun and colorful way to spend your afternoon. Children and adults alike are sure to have a great time looking at different collections such as HO Trains, Vintage Rocking Horses and even amazing Mineral Rocks.
Prices of admission are only $5 for adults, $4 for senior citizens, $3 for children, with kids under the age of 3 admitted for free. The hours that you may stop by to explore at the Children's Museum of Northern Nevada are 10:00AM until 4:30PM every day of the week, with the only exception of a closing day on Mondays.
