Chili Greens is one of Omaha’s premier golf practice facilities. This course is conveniently located, just north of I-80 and off of 72nd street. The Chili Greens Golf Course has a regulation nine hole golf course, an outdoor driving range, and a fabulous indoor golf dome, which creates a year round golf experience for those who wish to play in the winter time. Visitors can also check out the golf shop, or take a short break and relax before your practice session, or get off your feet after a game in the Back Nine grill.
The Chili Greens Golf Course caters to all golfers, from the novice to the very experienced. The greens average 6,000 undulating square feet, and feature mature oak trees and pine trees. This course is best described as needing target golf strategy. During the first six months that this course was open, only ten scores were recorded as being sub-par. The signature hole at Chili Greens is the 8th hole, which is a 180 yard par three, with a raised tee, as well as a fifty five foot drop to the green. It is recommended that golfers gear back two or three clubs on this hole. There has only been one hole in one recorded on this hole, in 1998. There is also an indoor driving range, open year round.
