Knolls Golf Club
If you’re looking for a great golfing experience, consider visiting Knolls Golf Club, which is located at 11630 Sahler St, in Omaha. The Knolls Golf Club features two uniquely different nines. With greens of Bent Grass and Fairways of Bermuda Grass, this course is a fantastic experience for any golfer.
On the front nine, you will get to play around shining lakes, winding creeks, grassy knolls, and beautiful greens. The back nine is tighter, lined with trees, and has a number of water carries. The greens on the back nine are a bit flatter, but they are tougher to read. Together, these two nines offer an extraordinary challenge for an advanced golfer, but it is still enjoyable for a novice when they play from the forward tees. The Knolls Golf club features water hazards, which come into play on fourteen holes. The most difficult hole is number 8. Hole number 8 is a 296 yard par 4, which features a dogleg left fairway with water coming into the mix. The shot to the green must avoid sand traps on the right as well as the left side.
In total, the par for the course is 71 for Championship, Regular, and Ladies ratings. The total yardage for Regular golf is 5813 (5111 for ladies). The green fees are surprisingly low. The course was built in 1977, and is still as beautiful as it ever was. It is important for golfers to know, however, that the Knolls Golf Club does have a dress code, and no tank tops or cutoffs are allowed here.
