Lincoln Children's Museum
One of the greatest things about taking your children to the Lincoln Children's Museum, is touching is not only allowed, it is encouraged! Your kids can build, dance, play, climb, create, sing, and laugh at the this fun venue. The Lincoln Children's Museum is a large facility that covers three floors and 45,500 square feet of hands-on exhibits and imaginative programs that allow children and adults to discover the adventure of learning through play together.
Children can pretend they have a myriad of careers from pizza maker to a radio star to a doctor. All the exhibits are hands on and your kids will have a great time trying out different occupations.
Additionally the Lincoln Children's Museum was built as the first "green" building in the city of Lincoln. Being green means the facility minimizes waste during construction and operations, recycling materials, using recycled content whenever possible and using best management practices regarding energy and water conservation when operating.
The Lincoln Children's Museum is located at 1420 P Street and the hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday 9:30am - 5pm; Sunday 1pm-5pm; Closed most Mondays, major holidays and one week in September. Admission to this fun venue is only $6 for adults; $5.50 for senior citizens and free for Members and children under 2.
