The North Dakota Former Governor's Mansion is a beautiful two story and one half Victorian home made museum. It was the governor's residence from 1893-1960. In 1975 the State Historical Society of North Dakota took over ownership of the home and through a lot of restoration made the home in its original 1893 appearance much as it looked when the owner Asa Fisher sold the house a grand value of $5,000.
