Dakota Zoo
There is a wild adventure waiting for you in the heart of Bismarck at the Dakota Zoo. Even if there are no children at all that are traveling with you on your tour bus, you are still going to enjoy a visit to this cool place. Located right on Arbor Avenue, the Dakota Zoo is filled with all sorts of wonderful animals in great natural exhibits. You may actually be quite surprised at just how much you will see and learn once you walk through the gates at this awesome attraction.
Have you always wanted to get an up close and personal look at a Bactrian camel or a Alaskan brown bear? Well, at the Dakota Zoo you will have your chance. All of the animals who live here are very well cared for and they all live in natural habitats to make them feel as close to home as possible. Do you think that you will be able to stand looking at some creepy crawlies while you are at the zoo? There are Madagascar hissing cockroaches and even Mexican orange knee tarantulas on the premises!
If you happen to have anyone in your charter bus group who is handicapped, the zoo is completely equipped and accessible. The cost of admission is only $6 for adults, $3 for children ages 2 through 12 and free for kids under the age of 2. The hours of operation are from 10:00AM until 7:00PM every day of the week. You can call (701) 223-7543 if you would like to inquire about any changes in hours and so on.
