Atlanta is a gorgeous place to have a bus tour holiday at…people from all walks of life and of all ages, should at least plan a quick bus tour holiday getaway to Atlanta Georgia once in their lifetime! Let’s take the phenomenal former-Olympic stadium as an example. It’s a landmark of Atlanta now and if you’re there for a bus tour holiday, no way should you miss this Atlanta attraction! Centennial Olympic Park was where the 1996 Olympic Games was held. Being made FOR THE OLYMPICS, needless to say, it’s spacious, green and beautiful with many rock gardens to take pictures of (in) and has many wonderful artworks for everyone to admire.
I found the 500,000 commemorative bricks lining up along the main walkway very unique….sort of like little tombstones in recognition of fundraising efforts before the games were held there. Well, maybe not tombstones but it was very striking indeed. Although the games is over by more than a decade now, this Atlanta Georgia bus tour attraction is still popular beyond belief! I mean, you should make a bus tour stop here during summer when the heat is up! Children are everywhere at Atlanta Georgia’s Centennial Olympic Park playing with the Olympic Rings. It was awesome because the kids would all hang around dancing to the music and then waiting for shoots of water to sprout out. I did do my fair share of dancing and water chasing as well. It was fun! One of the best bus tour stops I made during my bus tour stop in Atlanta Georgia.
There will be a lot of foreigners making bus tour stops here and trying to take in all they can but it’s a very friendly atmosphere…not the pushing and shoving kind you find in most other Atlanta Georgia attractions. Everything’s very relaxed and fun. The staff is wonderfully helpful as well. Stay tuned to their events and concerts by logging into their website for more information. And when you’re done with your bus tour holiday stop here, hop on over to other nearby Atlanta Georgia attractions.
And here’s the best part about making an Atlanta bus tour stop at Centennial Olympic Park….it’s free! Nothing beats free, like I always say! Fun and Free…beat that!
