Tunnel Walks (Houston Texas)

It’s nothing fancy but it’s everything normal and noisy! I don’t know about you but every time I hit the road for one of my infamous holiday bus tour holidays, I like to get down and dirty. If you’re headed for Houston Texas for a bus tour holiday, my suggestion for you (if you’re a down-and-dirty kind of person like me) is to walk through a place in Houston Texas known as the Tunnel Walks. No prizes for guessing but it’s just a simple stroll (jog, if you want) through a multi-million dollar tunnel system joining up all the major buildings overhead. What’s so fun about that, you’re asking?
Well, let’s see, there are the hotels, the tiny but nifty little gift shops, the restaurants, the bars…and lots and lots more! It’s just bustling with activity, that’s what fun about Tunnel Walks, one of Houston TX’s best bus tour attractions. No doubt, it’s not a high class shopping mall but who wants a shopping mall when you have something as uniquely Texan like the Tunnel Walks?!

While the weather overhead is beyond toleration, the Tunnel Walks of Texas is worth your bus tour attraction if you’re looking for shelter. So, no matter when it is that you make a bus tour stop here, the ‘weather’ in the Tunnel Walks is always pleasant. This is, like, the kind of bus tour attraction where you get to blend in with the crowd if you try hard enough to look like a local…unless you’re Asian, of course…but even then, it’s just fun going about from place to place the whole day during your Houston bus tour stop here.

From Houston Tunnel Walks, you can get from One Allen Center to Alley Theatre and then from Shell Plaza to Wortham Center – the Tunnel Walks connects them. I hear they have guided tours here for about USD$5, get it if you’re not keen on getting lost because it’s easy. To get lost, that is.

Even then, I have to concede with the fact that if you’re not a hard core down culture-vulture, this bus tour stop in Texas is worth one visit. Otherwise, it’s just a means of moving from one place to another away from the unforgiving sun. However, if you’ve never had a Texas bus tour holiday here, do it at least once! Well, if you’re not afraid to get lost at the Tunnel Walks of Houston Texas, head on over yourself and start strolling around aimlessly. Bring the Texas tour bus to 1121 Capitol St, Houston, TX 77002-3401 as starting point. For more information, call +1 713 222 9255.
