Char’s started out as a home until the location turned into a bustling downtown area, therefore, due to the commercialism, it was turned into a store, restaurant and then a Phoenix Blues Club. Accordingly, a Phoenix businessman turned the place into a Blues Club in Phoenix as a present for his wife…Charlene. Although the club has changed hands, the name remains as it has already established itself as one of the top bus tour stops in Phoenix.

There’s a nice mix of people from all walks of life here ranging from business men to young people who likes live performances. At times, the DJ will start spinning fast dance numbers and some of the patrons will bounce off their seats and onto the dance floor in a flash!
