John G. Shedd Aquarium & Oceanarium of Chicago IL....it’s not one of the most extensive and impressive aquarium I’ve
been to but it’s definitely one of the highlights of a charter bus tour I had
in Chicago IL! It’s no wonder that there are so many tourists and foreign
visitors rent a charter bus for a tour in this Chicago IL attraction – it’s
just simple but huge….and the kids love it! This Chicago IL bus tour
destination is located just off the coast of Lake Michigan so it’s an eyeful
there. From birds, to fishes, amphibians to reptiles and around the world; you
name it they have it. I read somewhere that there are more than six hundred and
fifty different species of animals in there – I was like WOW!
Nothing cheap is good and nothing good is cheap, they always
say and I agree completely. When you make a charter bus stop at this Chicago IL
attraction, you can be sure that you’re getting the best. Hence, the pricing. Some
people complain that the admission fee is exorbitant and although I agree that
there are some other Chicago IL attraction costs less, I have to say that they
DO really deliver. Imagine the 90,000 gallon of Caribbean coral reef filled
with all kinds of beautiful coral. If you’ve
been to other oceanariums or aquariums, the dolphin and whales show should be
the norm…nothing exceptional but still, the kids will still be thrilled even if
they’re seeing it at this Chicago aquarium for the thousandth time.
One outstanding fact of this Chicago attraction is that when
you’re at the dolphin tank, you’ll see that they designed it in such a way that
the view projects out into Lake Michigan. Hence, you get the feeling that the dolphin
tank is a part of the Lake Michigan. What a play with the mind! Everything from
the beluga whales to the sharks, everything so surreal. If you’re ever in
Chicago IL for a bus tour holiday with the kids, don’t miss the chance to stop
the charter bus here! It’s just simply awesome….for lack of a better word.
However, the lines are exceptionally long during peak hours,
so, be sure to book your tickets beforehand. And remember to pack yourself
lunch because the food at the restaurant is extremely expensive. You can eat
during your charter bus stop at this Chicago IL attraction if you have the
budget for it but most people would agree that the café and restaurant here,
although panoramic and mouth-watering, is a little too expensive. So, if you’re
ready to thrill the kids to bits, rent a Chicago IL charter bus and make your
way to 1200 S Lake
Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60605-2402. For details on tickets booking and the
exhibits, call +1 312 939 2438, email contactus@sheddaquarium.org, or
