Philadelphia Zoo (Philadelphia Pennsylvania)

When you make a Philadelphia charter bus stop at Philadelphia Zoo, you will soon see that this is not an ordinary zoo. It’s more or less a playground for people of all ages! It doesn’t matter how old you are and what you like to do during your free time, this is one of the most fulfilling charter bus stop in Philadelphia Pennsylvania for the kids, this, I promise you! Perhaps some parts of the charter bus attraction are a little rundown but hey, let’s give them a break here because this attraction has been around since the early 1800s! So, yes, it is the oldest zoo in the United States and we should give it credit for being around….still.

When you take the kids to Philadelphia Zoo during your charter bus holiday, you’ll be meeting lots of land and sea creatures…accordingly, this is the home to more than 2,000 animals and they even have some rare species for you to take a look at too! The kids’ squeals can be heard from miles away as they admire the white lions, pandas and the polar bears. I loved the polar bears…there’s something truly cuddly about them. The ever entertaining gorillas were a real laugh too as they show-off their ‘manly’ skills…the chest-thumping action.

What made this Philadelphia charter bus stop worthwhile is the fact that they have a lot of activities for the kids and you to participate in. so, it’s not just the animals. You can actually rent a boat or ride the camels or have your face painted. And all the kids will clamor around in the Treehouse which is highly recommended. If given the chance, I bet my bottom dollar that the kids will stay there the whole day. And don’t miss the Balloon Ride – it’s awesome! PLUS the Dodge Safari too.

If there were complaints, my only complain about my charter bus stop at this Philadelphia PA attraction is…it’s a little expensive. There’s an admission fee of $17 (check website if there are changes to fees) and to get on the individual rides, there are extra charges. I felt it was a little pricey there but apart from that, Philadelphia Zoo is a fabulous attraction for people from all walks of life, of any religion and age.

The Philadelphia charter bus attraction, Philadelphia Zoo, is at 3400 W Girard Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19104-1139. For more information, call +1 215 243 1100 or visit their website at www.phillyzoo.org. Opening hours vary.
