The Field Museum (Chicago IL)

Out of this world. That’s how I would describe my first visit to Chicago IL’s The Field Museum. Initially, when we rented the Chicago charter bus for a short weekend trip to Chicago IL, I didn’t know what to expect since it is a well-known place for kids to explore. I am no kid, you see but I do love artistic and historical stuff. But curiosity got the better of a couple of tourist friends we had on the Chicago charter bus holiday, so, we asked the bus driver to head on over to The Field Museum to see what we could find there. To say that I was taken by surprise is a complete understatement.

First off, I loved the exterior of this Chicago IL attraction…who designed it, I wonder? Anyway, it was awesome the moment the Chicago IL rental charter bus rolled around to the entrance. But I was even more floored when I entered. It was like, literally, traveling back in time! And they’ve made so much effort to make the experience as unforgettable as possible, it’s felt almost like magic. Think along the lines of ancient cultures long forgotten and tombs consistently probed by modern equipment and scientists. This Chicago IL rental charter bus stop reminds me of my trip to Smithsonian Museum of Natural History….only bigger and better!

What I enjoyed was the Egyptian part….scouring through all those artifacts and all the facts and info they threw at me was awesome. I loved the gorgeous costumes and surreal atmosphere too. And I couldn’t stop taking pictures of the American Indians and their costumes even though I was a little creeped out with how real they were. If you rent a Chicago IL charter bus to The Field Museum, you should take a look at the Senegal and Bamum Kingdom!

Other highlights at this Chicago IL rental charter bus attraction is OF COURSE T-rex, Sue, who is, I think, the world’s largest T-rex. The Underground Adventure will be a definite hit with the kids because everyone who enters becomes 10 times smaller while everything is HUGE while you explore the subterranean world! What a way to learn, don’t you think?
