Cheers Beacon Hill (Boston MA)

Cheers, the long-running TV comedy series, ruled the airways for many years before the craze finally fizzled out and directors decided that they've had enough of Ted Danson. Rumor has it the name was deceptive as it suggests association with the hit show Cheers. So, many people renting Boston MA charter buses expected everything in Cheers Beacon Hill to be the same as the show. It's no wonder why so many people rent Boston MA charter buses here to have a quick look-y.....me, included. Actually, if you read about Cheers Beacon Hill, you'll know that Beacon Street Bar is NOT the place where they filmed cheers....it's the inspiration for the TV series! Some were terribly disappointed when they bring their Boston MA rental charter bus there the moment they step inside the bar and see that it's nothing like the bar in the show.

What really made this Boston MA rental charter bus attraction worthwhile is the fact that the atmosphere is VERY MUCH like the one in the show! That's, sadly, the only similarity I see there. The beer is cold, the people friendly, the service excellent. It's a little cramped and small for something so popular on the Internet but hey, I guess that's why they are ranked one of the top few Boston MA rental charter bus destinations to go to. I think the one here is slightly better than another Cheers down at Faneuil Hill.

Despite the initial crippling feeling of disappointment, you'll start enjoying the place more when you start mingling around and having some fun. They have Cheers who on television throughout the time I was there....I think someone asked for the show. During the afternoons, energetic kids swarm the place and the atmosphere then is different. The food, I reckon, is not as cheap as they should be because it's nothing to shout about. I love the ice-cold beer they serve and there's quite a bit of variety as well.

Overall, while the inside of this Boston MA bar is unlike the one we used to see on TV and the space is just a tiny bit too cramped, the food is decent and the drinks exceptional! At night, it can get warm and overcrowded but still enjoyable. Oh, there's also some shopping to be done in the gift shop upstairs too. Overall, it will be worth your time stopping the Boston MA rented charter bus after a long day of sightseeing, down some beers and then call it a day!
