Brown Sugar Café (Boston MA)

Having a charter bus holiday in Boston MA and wondering if there’s anything to eat other than burger and fries? Well, the wonderful thing about renting a charter bus in Boston is that you get to ask the charter bus driver where to head to for good food. During my charter bus trip to Boston with a few friends, we decided we wanted something a little….different. Not the typical Italian food or fast food that we can find at every turn. We wanted something to excite our taste buds and boy, the charter bus driver just said, “Leave it to me!” and we ended up in Brown Sugar Café. When the Boston MA charter bus stopped, we weren’t too impressed. It’s a little small but that’s where the disappointment ends.

The excitement starts when you open up the menu. Boston Magazine once said that this is one of the best Thai restaurants in Boston MA, and they have my vote as well. As with the name of the place, a pot of brown sugar is part of the décor and you can find it at every table. Long-sighted? Not to worry because this Boston MA rental charter bus diner’s got one of the biggest menus I’ve ever seen. Of course, we were flabbergasted and flustered with all the big pictures and huge fonts – the friendly staff stepped up and helped us pick our food. This Boston MA rental charter bus diner is a little small but that provides for a cozy atmosphere where everyone is at an elbow’s nudge away. I really, truly liked the ambience because it was, like, we stepped into Thailand. Hhhhmm….really nice and authentic, I have to say.

Food-wise, I would like to say that at least they don’t taste like they microwaved it or something….hate that. The staff were very professional and helpful but perhaps because of their training on how to provide professional service, some of them appeared aloof. Ah well…the food made up for everything. If you have the chance, take the patio…the scenery is amazing! Things to try would be the Siamese Twins dish, Thai Iced Tea, Drunken Noodles, Salmon Choo Chee, Fisherman Madness.
