High Museum of Art (Atlanta Georgia)

Although I wouldn’t go as far as to say that this Atlanta Georgia museum, High Museum of Art is one of the finest museum I’ve been to in the United States, I thoroughly enjoyed bringing my rental charter bus round to this Atlanta tourist attraction. First off, there’s the building itself….you can’t miss it because it just stands out on Peachtree and you should be able to spot it in your Atlanta GA rental charter bus from a mile away. The building was creatively designed and has four (or five) levels within and inside there are some of the most cutting edge collection of art to be found in Atlanta Georgia. So, if you ask me if it is worthwhile to bring the Atlanta GA rental charter bus to this museum, my answer would be a ‘Yes’.

You should be able to spend about 2 to 3 hours here when you make a rental charter bus stop at this Atlanta GA tourist attraction. But the kids might get a little bored here because there isn’t much for them to see or do here, so, consider getting someone to entertain them while you explore this museum. When I brought my Atlanta rental charter bus here, I was delighted with the treatment I got from the staff. The thing about visiting museums is that the guards and staff are always acting like you’re going pull out a gun at any time. The atmosphere was more relaxed here compared to other museums, I would have to say.

The facility was undergoing a facelift when I made my Atlanta Georgia rental charter bus stop here but the atmosphere was clean, relaxed, fun and friendly! Loved that! It’s a good place to go to when you need to take yourself away from the blaring horns of city life. I have to say that I like the wide variety of art they have here…you won’t be bored out of your skull, that’s for sure. This Atlanta rental charter bus museum consistently plays host to renowned touring collections too….featuring stuff from Pablo Picasso and Norman Rockwell. Loved the Beardon Exhibition, High Folk Art collection, Howard Finster, and Bill Traylor.

Hi Lady Limelight, Thanks for the positive review! I happen to work at the High, and spotted your blog through a Google search... I just wanted to make sure that your readers know that there's plenty for the kids to do! :) We have activities for families in the way of workshops, hands-on art-making activities and the Greene Family Education Gallery, where children learn about foundations of art and architecture through interactive play-stations, and can pick up a Discovery Pack - which is filled with small projects and activities to engage families throughout the galleries. We also have weekend family tours of our permanent collection. Check out this link for more information. http://high.org/experience/education/family.aspx Thanks so much and I hope you continue to enjoy what the museum has to offer. Emily
