Santa Fe Party Bus

Santa Fe Party Bus

Hey party bus riders! Santa Fe was once voted the fourth most popular travel destinations in the world. So point the party bus southwest and let the fun begin!

First head the party bus in the direction of the Tessuque Pueblo. This place is on the National Register of Historic Places, and was built in 1694. Party bus goers may never get the chance to set foot in an authentic pueblo again.

You should also drive the party bus to the Case Trading Post. This is one of Santa Fe's coolest museums. The place has been built as a replica of a trading post from days long gone. The place has wood plank floors and a low ceiling that really creates an atmosphere. Your party bus friends can shop for pottery, drums, jewelry and other souvenirs to take home from their party bus excursion.

Now it's a little campy, but your party bus crew has simply got to try La Cantina at Casa Sena. Broadway meets Santa Fe! Waiters for your party bus entourage also perform musical comedy on the side. Dinner first, show afterward, so no one on the party bus will get cold soup! Make reservations ahead of time for your entire party bus gang.

When the party bus is ready for some night life, it's time for San Felipes Casino Hollywood. This is as close as Santa Fe ever comes to Las Vegas. Party bus party animals can roll the dice under the bright lights. Just don'tuse the party bus as collateral!

If your party bus friends are looking for something a little less flashy try Vanessie of Santa Fe, a popular piano bar featuring world class keyboardists.

Santa Fe will give you and your party bus friends memories for a life time.

Old Barracks Museum

Old Barracks Museum

The Battle of Trenton was made famous by images of Washington crossing the Delaware. He did so to prevent what he thought to be an imminent attack on Philadelphia. While Washington crossed the river with his 2,400 men and equipment including cannons, horses, and other gear, Colonel Henry Knox led troops across McKonkey's Ferry and Generals Nathaniel Greene and John Sullivan led a two-pronged nine-mile southern march through grueling winter weather.

The first shot was fired against the Hessians at 8 am, December 26, on Pennington Road. Two hours later the battle was over, and casualties on both sides were pretty light. But the Hessians surrendered. Ten days later the Americans won the Second Battle of Trenton and the Battle of Princeton, proving their mettle against an army of seasoned British regulars.

Today visitors enjoy many exhibits and activities recalling military life before and during the Battle of Trenton. Of War, Law, and the Third Amendment is an exhibit examining the history of forced quartering in America (soldiers staying in peoples' houses uninvited). The Battle of Trenton exhibit features period weapons and equipment. Hail the Conquering Hero . . . celebrates Washington's entry into Trenton. Meticulously restored and refurnished, the Officers' Quarters offers visitors a unique insight on 18th century New Jersey life and the growing social and political tensions that led to the Revolution.

The Museum offers great services for families throughout the year. From military re-enactments and family workshops to concerts, lectures, and even Summer History Day Camp for the kids, the Old Barracks is an invaluable educational resource.

Admission:
Adults $6.00, Seniors and Students $4.00, Children under 5 FREE

Hours:
Tuesday - Saturday 11 am - 5 pm, Sunday 1 pm - 5 pm

Radio City Music Hall

Radio City Music Hall

A visit to New York just would not be complete without a visit to Radio City Music Hall. Home to some of New York's most famous shows, and attractions.

Radio City Music Hall opened it's doors on December 27, 1932, and was the largest indoor theater in the world. S.L. "Roxy" Rohthafel had the idea, which became reality. It was the first building in the Rockefeller Center complex, and became known as "The Showcase of the Nation" soon after opening. Our nations greatest entertainers have graced the stage there, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Tony Bennett just to name a few.

Of course the primary residents are the Rockettes, performing there on the music hall's debut night, and have stayed ever since. They wowed the audience with their precision dance routines, giving the impression of one dancer. The troup began with 16 dancers, today they have 36.
At the time all of the dancers had to be the identical height, weight, and the costumes. Now, they still practice the sameness but place taller dancers in the center, and graduate down to the shortest on both ends. They have perfomed all over the world, but Radio City Music Hall has alway been home to the Rockettes. Each year they perform their Christmas spectacular to a packed house.

Even though Radio City Music Hall is not acutally on Broadway, it is often referred to as a Broadway Theater, as it is as large as the Broadway Theaters. It plays host to several variety and award shows.
Due to it's prime location, and size the Radio City Music
Hall only hosts the more successful, and large shows, in order to fill it's huge auditorium.

More useful information for the visitor:

Tour admission:
$17 adults
$14 for senior citizens
$10 for children under 12
