Seeing The Twin Arches

Whether or not you are into hiking, a trip to see the beautiful Twin Arches is a must if you are in Tennessee. This is a stunning chunk of land that spans about 1,500 lovely acres throughout the Tennessee countryside. On this land, there are two interesting geological formations that are known to many as the Twin Arches.

You simply have to see this natural wonder for yourself in order to believe its true beauty. It is what has been called the biggest natural bridge complex in the area and possibly the world. The Twin Arches are comprised of sandstone, and sit end-to-end making a bridge-shaped formation. Along this entire area, you will find some amazing vegetation that includes scarlet oak, red maple, sourwood, blackgum, chestnut and white oak, and Virginia and shortleaf pine.

To the delight of many visitors, there is public access allowed to witness this awesome natural formation. Hiking trails are provided for those who wish to launch and excursion through the countryside. There is even plenty of parking available for your convenience should you wish to visit. A Visit To The Women's Basketball Hall Of Fame

Are you into basketball? If so, then you really need to stop by and check out the Women's Basketball Hall Of Fame in Knoxville, Tennessee. This is a great place where you can see everything and learn about everything regarding basketball and the fantastic women that have excelled in the sport. A World Of Illusions In Gatlinburg

When you are visiting Tennessee, there is a great little place in Gatlinburg called World Of Illusions that is a true must see. This is a place where your whole entire family will have an awesome time. It is quite fun to take a walk through this attraction and see all of the cool exhibits on display. There are even cool activities where you can make one of your friends or family members disappear.

Children and adults alike love to visit the World Of Illusions so that they can learn how all kinds of different illusions are done in many of the popular television shows and movies. See The Sights At Rock City

The Historic Tennessee Valley Railroad

A Visit To Cooter's Place

If you are a fan of the Dukes of Hazzard, then you seriously need to check out Cooter's Place in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This is the coolest museum for any fan! It is loaded full of all sorts of great Dukes memorabilia. You simply have to check out this museum for yourself to believe it.

Cooter's Place is a great museum dedicated to all that is related to the famous Dukes of Hazzard television show. The museum is run by none other than Cooter himself, the ace mechanic on the show, actor Ben Jones. When you stop by to check out this interesting attraction in the heart of Gatlinburg, it is almost like you are stepping right into the actual Hazzard County.

There are tons of great items on display for you to look through. How would you like to see the famous General Lee? There is just nothing like seeing this fast car up close and personal. See Cooter's tow truck, the one that was famous for helping the Dukes get out of trouble all of the time. Feast your eyes on Daisy's Jeep and remember how many times she help her crazy cousins play cat and mouse with Boss Hogg. You can even catch a glimpse of Rosco's Police Car. It is actually pretty easy to visualize Rosco in hot pursuit of the Duke boys with Flash sitting by his side in the passenger seat!

A Visit To Coolidge Park

When you are planning your visit to Chattanooga, Tennessee, you want to be sure that you take in all of the wonderful attractions in the area. There are all kinds of restaurants and historical sites, but there is actually one attraction that stands a little bit above the rest. James White's Fort is located at 205 East Hill Avenue in Knoxville. The hours that you may stop by for a tour are Monday through Saturday from 9:30 am until 5:00 pm from April to December, and Monday through Friday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm from January to March. The hours that you can stop by for a visit to the Knoxville Museum of Art are from Noon until 8:00 pm Tuesday through Wednesday, Noon until 9:00 pm Thursday through Friday, and 11:00 am until 5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday. The normal closing for the museum are on Mondays and all of the major national holidays. Cost of admission is only $5 for adults and free for children ages 18 and under.
