The Beaver Meadow Golf Course was actually built way back in 1897 by a man by the name of Willlie Campbell. This of course is a golf club that is open to the public and there is no strict dress code that is enforced. You are sure to find great delight in the fact that this golf course is always perfectly maintained, making for an incredible experience to be had by all who play it. You will also have the challenge of water on five of the different holes and you can even take a peek at some of the holes that were redesigned several years ago.

In addition to the great golf that is offered up at this course, there are also plenty of lovely views of the surrounding area. You may even feel as though that you have stepped right into one of the scenes that can be found on one of the postcards from New Hampshire while you are walking around at the Beaver Meadow Golf Club.

The Fourth Ward School Museum

Are you looking for a lovely and unique adventure during your visit to Virginia City? If so, then you need to get your plans in order so that you can make a trip to the historical Fourth Ward School Museum, which can be found on South C Street. This is an incredibly interesting place where you can go to see as well as learn all about this school that actually opened up way back on November 28th, 1876. People of all ages, including the young and the old are sure to benefit greatly from a visit and a learning experience at this amazing historical building.

While you are enjoying your stop at the Fourth Ward School Museum, you will have a chance to visit a number of rooms within the facilities. Many of the rooms actually still hold the old furniture, school desks and other items that were used many, many years ago. For example, there is the Main Floor Classroom, which happens to be a very popular stop along many adventures throughout the school. This is an original classroom that dates back to the opening in 1876. Still within this classroom that seats up to fifty students, you will be able to see the old potbelly stove as well as many marks and scuffs on the wooden floor.

The cost of admission to the Fourth Ward School Museum is only $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 6 through 12, and free for children under the age of 6. If you have any questions prior to your visit, you may call the offices at (775) 847-0975.
