Founded by a man named Thomas Dent Mutter back in 1858, this museum started off as an exhibit of his personal collection of items. Today, you will be able to view a collection that has grown to a phenomenal size of over 20,000 items. In addition to the items on hand, you will be able view photographs, plaster models, dried specimens, and so on. The hours that you can stop by for your visit are from 10:00AM until 5:00PM every day of the week. There are regular closings on all of the major national holidays. Prices of admission are only $12 for adults, $8 for children ages 6 through 18, senior citizens and students, and $6 for students. Admission is always free of charge for children under the age of 6.
