Hartford Connecticut for a quick weekend visit, I made sure I scheduled in some time to visit the Harriet Beecher Stowe’s House. Although it’s not the kind of place where you can find tourists pouring out of rented Harford CT charter buses, it’s worth a visit if you love her books and her personality….it’s enchanting, I promise you. As I stepped inside the house during my Hartford rental charter bus visit, I felt like I was sucked into a surreal world of the past. Apparently, in 1873 Harriet Beecher Stowe bought this modest little cottage, she spent a lot of time working on her books and gardens. She loved Victorian stuff, and this is an apparent fact when you visit this Hartford CT tourist attraction. The author stayed there with her twin daughters till her death, so it’s a really significant place in Hartford for me.
