Old Sacramento (Sacramento California)

I had so much fun at Old Sacramento that I actually rented a room nearby one of the hotels during one rental charter bus holiday trip to Sacramento CA just so I can go back. You know, the city is so much less fun after a visit to a place like Old Sacramento – no, seriously, I mean it. it’s all dirt and cobblestone and takes you way back by decades. There’s something to be said about all those out-of-style buildings and historical places that even an adult like me find to be fun. I fancied one of those rides around Old Sacramento via a horse-drawn carriage – so, during that charter bus trip, I told the bus driver to go get himself a beer and I took a carriage ride! Amazing experience, I’m telling you and if you’ve not done this before, you don’t know what you’re missing. Some tourists who thronged to this place in their rented charter buses opted for the riverboat ride tour instead.
The great thing is that it’s not at all expensive, as one would expect of a charter bus tourist attraction. It’s reasonably priced and if you find yourself inside of an old family-owned store, you can even knock down some of the prices for their products. Of course, this is not Chinatown so don’t take it too far! Kids will definitely have a swell time here as well when you take the Sacramento CA rental charter bus here – novelty shops, great restaurants, and rides, rides and more rides. Over the weekend, the experience is knocked up a couple of notches because the atmosphere is very special – you can hear Cajun or some kind of folk music blaring through some restaurants or saloons. I strongly recommend that you rent a bike and cycle all around Old Sacramento CA.

Of course, there are lots of night places to go to too where you can catch a local jazz band or shake your booty down in one of the clubs. I personally loved the Delta King….a watering hole, for your info.
