Newark Symphony Hall - Newark, New Jersey

For top-quality entertainment during your bus tour holiday trip to Newark NJ, try making your way to Newark Symphony Hall for one of their highly entertaining shows. The Newark Symphony Hall is more than just a theatre, it’s a dual-dimension bus tour attraction because there’s a lot of culture and history in the building itself.

The Newark Symphony Hall was built by a group of people formerly known as Shriners , a group under the Masonic Order way back in 1925. This makes this bus tour attraction the oldest and biggest showcase of arts, education and entertainment location. Even if you’re not keen on going for one of their shows, you should still make a bus tour stop to take lots of pictures of the building itself. It’s truly a sight to behold.

When you make a bus tour stop at this Newark attraction, you’ll be awed by the stunningly beautiful décor and design – Greek designs intertwine with Egyptian architectural style. Talk about unique. Just so you know what you’re looking at when you make a bus tour stop here, the front portion of the symphony hall used to be a mosque for the Shriners. Hence, it earned the Newark Symphony Hall their name…The Mosque.

This multi-facility Newark symphony hall is a very grand entertainment attraction as many geniuses in music have performed there before including Arturo Toscanini, Valdamir Horowitz, Marian Anderson, William Warfield, Lily Pons, John Gershwin, Luciano Pavarotti and Sarah Vaughn. After being saved from the wrecking ball, the Newark Symphony Hall got a new name and a new start. After that, many other artistes took to the stage here.

Log onto their website for shows that they have during your bus tour holiday trip to Newark. To get in touch with the management, call 973-643-8468. The Newark NJ Symphony Hall is located at 1020 Broad Street, Newark, NJ 07102-2428.
