Five Guys (Washington DC)

For one, hamburgers isn't quite my thing because frankly speaking, unless I was close to dying of hunger, then and only then would I consider hopping into a McDonlads or Burger King for a meal. I've heard a great deal of good things about a Washington DC charter bus rental fast food joint called Five Guys. I was intrigued by the name at first and was expecting a fine-dining place. Then as we were directing the rented charter bus to the place and discovered that it was actually a hamburger joint, I was disappointed. Apparently, there's something different about the hamburgers here…they're, as some said, a class above McDonalds.

Hhhhmmm……there's nothing special about this Washington DC charter bus rental burger joint's atmosphere. Just the conventional kid-friendly kind of atmosphere you would expect to find at a place like this. But the aroma that swirled out from the kitchen as the burger was being grilled enticed my senses…it smelt a little different compared to what you would find in other conventional burger joints. Taking a closer look at the Washington DC charter bus rental restaurant's menu, I noticed that the price isn't cheap…but it's much cheaper than eating in a top-class dining destination.

When the dishes were delivered, crispy fries were aplenty and being a little bit of a nut freak, loved the fact that there were free-flowing peanuts for us to eat while waiting for the orders to arrive. Although the burgers at this Washington DC charter bus rental burger joint was nothing to shout about (just my personal opinion), it was made just right and deserves the ratings that people give it. If not for a little dry and burnt out (mine), it tasted scrumptious.

When I was there during my Washington DC charter bus rental visit, there were lots of kids there chomping down excitedly over their burgers. It got a little noisy and chaotic at one point but it contributed to the more relaxed atmosphere. The chitter-chatter of overexcited kids were welcome to me since our next stop during that Washington DC charter bus rental trip was a museum, so, it was regarded as the storm before the calm. :-)

Talk about accolades and raving reviews, after my Washington DC charter bus rental visit here, I discovered that this joint had their fair share of awards and accolades which includes being names as Reader's Choice #1 Bargain, Best all-American Burger, a burger joint in a class by itself and also the Tastiest Burger in Town.

I've not been too many burger joints in Washington DC myself but so far, it ranks as one of the best hamburger joint in Washington DC that I have been too – it's true value for money although they can do a little bit more for the atmosphere and parking.
