Swimming With And Learning About Manatees And Wild Life In Orlando FL

Swimming with sharks and dolphins…that's common. If you're ever in Orlando FL on a charter bus rental vacation, here's a rather refreshing idea. How about swimming with a gentle breed of flubber-filled sea animals called Manatees? I was surprised to find that Orlando FL was big on manatees in Everglades. So much so that it becomes one of the most natural things to do here. The water is simply awesome….an exhilarating experience, indeed.

During my Orlando FL charter bus rental visit to the Everglades Orlando FL, every minute of the twelve hours that I spent cruising in the boats and diving, swimming in with the manatees was memorable and deservingly recorded as one of the best times of my life. The river ride through Homosassa River during this Orlando FL charter bus rental visit was fun – what with one of the best 'closet comedian's I've ever met with me to keep me entertained with his commentary.

Although the focus during the Orlando FL charter bus rental stop was to swim with the Manatees, I spent a lot of time…erm, EATING (too) and chatting about marine life and the general wild life (and human life) preservation in Orlando FL. It was further augmented by the narration during the boat cruise along the river.

If you don't already know this, for your information, the manatee is listed as one of the world's most endangered species in the world. These plant-eating gentle giants swim with grace and is sometimes called the 'sea cow'. I hate it when these huge harmless animals become prey to other wilder and meaner sea and land life. These are things that I learn during my Orlando FL charter bus rental visit that made my blood pressure rise above normal reading. Their 'deaths' are mostly attributable to loss of habitat – yes, that means that human beings are their biggest murderers.

Don't worry if you're not a water baby because the guides who accompanied me during my Orlando FL charter bus rental visit were extremely kind and understanding (they didn't laugh when I squealed the first time I touched a manatee).

After the swimming and riverboat ride, next up on the Orlando FL charter bus rental plan was to visit the Homosassa State Wildlife Park. This is where many injured animals are nursed back to health, you see, and I was touched enough to shed a couple of tears (which I hid well) during my Orlando FL charter bus rental stop here. And I got to feed so many different types of animals! Never knew critters could be cute, so this is one of those things I learned during my Orlando FL charter bus rental visit here.

I spent slightly more than $150 for one full day of fun and learning…highly recommended! For more information, check it out under Viator.com tours.
