Minneapolis Sculpture Garden (Minneapolis MN)

Says who you can't pay next to nothing and yet get to have full-out fun on a Minneapolis MN charter bus rental holiday? If you are, then you've not been to Minneapolis Sculpture Garden which is a somewhat touristy place, but it remains a gem, despite that. A simple day out with the kids is what you can get here so, don't expect movie stars, music and fine dining. Well, it's very near the Walker Art Center which is where we were before we walked over to this beautiful Minneapolis MN charter bus rental destination.

While it's not the only outdoor art center in the country, it IS one of the boldest, if not smallest, and beautiful one. This Minneapolis MN charter bus rental tourist attraction is clean, small but very comfortable. Within the confines of the small space, they manage to set out and display more than forty artwork from renowned sculpture artists - and it's simply so beautiful that it's amazing! I don't know half the names (more than that) of the people who contributed to the gorgeousness of this Minneapolis MN charter bus rental holiday attraction, but they're people like Ellsworth Kelly, Henry Moore, George Segal (which rings a bell somewhere in my head) and Franz Lipshitz.

Well, we didn't care much about who did the sculptures or the history behind it. All we knew was that this was pretty much a free stop and it's a nice place to spend an afternoon just relaxing and doing nothing except to snap pictures!

Oh, I certainly fell in love with the green houses which I think is such an important part of this Minneapolis MN charter bus rental attraction that they should have highlighted it more! And it's not merely green houses, it was also some of the most beautiful artwork in there! Not a lot of people notice this but there are a couple of 'hidden' or 'camouflaged' sculptures in there – send the kids out hunting for them. It's fun!

If plants and artwork isn't quite your thing, let it be known that part of the fun is in watching people who pour in and out of this Minneapolis MN charter bus rental destination. Watch them, listen and just absorb the feeling of being completely free. People-watching is a favorite charter bus rental activity for me; hence, I tend to do it a lot.

For a little bit of leg activity, we walked around this Minneapolis MN charter bus rental attraction and then over the bridge which led us to Lyndale/Hennepin and then over to Loring Park. In between, we found the walker center and flower garden. If you make your way into the conservatory, be sure to catch the Gehry Glass Fish….it's stunning.

All in all, cheap, albeit almost-free (except for the parking) and captivating fun for a relaxed afternoon with gripping activities for next to nothing.
