U.S. Capitol Building (Washington DC)

It's hard to imagine having fun or learning something historical in a place like the U.S. Capitol Building…it's just too touristy and full of people. It would be so filled to the brim with Washington DC charter bus rental tourists and foreign visitors that you'd suffocate. BUT…hang on a minute….that was what I thought before I actually made my way there. After the Washington DC charter bus rental visit to U.S. Capitol Building, my view about this attraction changed. In short, the U.S. Capitol Building is where the many important political people in our country meet, discuss (argue) and make decisions (vote). There are public tours where you actually get to sit down with these people and watch them do their thing.

The Washington DC charter bus rental visit's highlight was getting to watch one of their meetings but the tour from the east side of the Capitol to the other chambers was…interesting too, if not robotic. Now, let me just inform you that timing is crucial if you want to make a Washington DC charter bus rental stop here….when the timing is right, you get to watch them in action…the timing is wrong, you'd end up just making the usual rounds. I have this feeling that even locals should make a short Washington DC charter bus rental stop here…just to see the sessions, if not for the tour. Those who are not interested in finding out more about how the country is run, the cafeteria is must and the architecture of the building is beautiful enough to fill up a few GBs of your digital camera's memory card. Snap, snap and snap some more!

For foreigners, believe me….the pictures tell you nothing about how beautiful the building is in real life. Standing right there in front of this Washington DC charter bus rental tourist spot gives you a really special feeing…like when you see a celebrity or the first time you see the Eiffel Tower. I also loved the Roman paintings adorning the walls…beautiful hallway that just captures the essence of the country and they just….blow you away.

Being such a monumental tourist attraction, it means that you have to expect a crowd (especially during weekends and public holidays) at this Washington DC charter bus rental tourist spot. It's so crowded that you may have to wait in line for a long time, rub shoulders with people from all walks of life and struggle to find foot space on the ground. So, as said…timing is quite crucial so plan your Washington DC visit properly.

By law, the cafeteria in U.S. Capitol Building has to serve bean soup…and this is something you just CAN'T MISS! If you like it, you can actually purchase the canned ones.
