Some people said that First Avenue
used to be a better Minneapolis MN
charter bus rental holiday destination than it is today. My take is that it’s
still fabulous and since I’ve never seen it during its heydays, I can’t quite
comment on what it used to be. The fact that Prince drops by every now and then
convinced me that this might be a worthwhile Minneapolis
charter bus rental stop after all.
When the bus rolled around to this Minneapolis
charter bus rental tourist attraction, I thought it was much bigger than
anticipated but on the inside, they really need more space. The fact that this
place is THE PLACE for the music scene, it pretty much makes up for the whole ‘space
constraints’ disappointment. This Minneapolis
charter bus rental destination used to be a bus depot but it has been heavily smartened
up, so, you don’t get that dank, musty smell of buses, make no mistake about
that. The moment you enter, you know you’re in for a good time because the
atmosphere is there…you can literally feel the energy being charged up as the
time creeps by.
My friend grabbed my arm and whispered to me about how
thankful she is that we got there ahead of time because First
Avenue can get very packed during Fridays and
Saturdays. True enough, by 9pm to 10pm,
we were caved in by bodies of every imaginable shapes and sizes around us. But
then again, there are benefits to be standing when there’s good music playing –
you can dance, for instance. There are pool tables. Various video game machines
and also pinball machines. Those are consistently occupied as well especially
before the bands came on because everyone’s having their drinks and filling up
their time.
The sound system is superior to most of the places that I’ve
made a Minneapolis charter bus
rental stops to so far. If there was a complaint I could make about this Minneapolis
charter bus rental tourist attraction, it would be the fact that they need to
manage their bathrooms a little better.
While there isn’t enough elbow room, there are PLENTY of
bars for you to choose from…there are four of them, I believe, so, you don’t
have to walk too far to get your drinks.
One thing I noticed is that during off peak hours (we were
there early), the staff were friendly and very helpful. But when the people
started piling in, it was hard to get their attention at all. But I guess I
shouldn’t complain because my friends and I had a wonderful time at this Minneapolis
charter bus rental entertainment outlet and would not hesitate to return to the
place…just in case Prince decides to drop by, of course.
