Highland Village - Houston, Texas

In all honesty, a bus tour stop at Houston’s Highland Village is a MUST but unless you came with a huge budget, chances of purchasing anything here is very slim. But the reason why many people decide to make a bus tour stop at this shopping center is for the experience, for the atmosphere and for people-watching as much as it is for window-shopping. Highland Village is an upscale shopping center, make no mistake about it, but you won’t find snobbish locals snubbing their noses at tourists and foreign visitors here. To the contrary, the atmosphere at this Houston bus tour shopping destination is kind, charming, friendly and helpful.

The signature for Highland Village are their swaying palm trees providing much-needed shade under the punishing Houston weather during summer time and also provide respite for those in need of something more relaxing other than the sound of honking cars in the middle of the city. Even though you don’t intend to buy anything when you make a bus tour stop at Houston’s Highland Village, you can find a seat at one of their many restaurants, put your feet up, relax and unwind. There are many Asian fares for you to enjoy, countless coffee joints to be found and the food is, surprisingly, not as expensive as the stuff found at the shopping center.

All in all, Highland Village is a unique shopping destination – just by looking at those pristinely designed awnings over stucco buildings, you know you’re in for a special bus tour stop. Houston is a bustling place and this is the place where you slow down and literally feel as though time is paused. Some of the branded outlets found here at Crate & barrel, Cole Haan, Gap, Harold Power, PF Chang's China Bistro, Smith & Wollensky, Tootsies, Williams-Sonoma, etc.

Highland Village, one of Houston’s most prestigious shopping centers, can be found when you make a bus tour stop at 4055 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77027· For more information, call 713-850-3100, visit their website at http://www.shophighlandvillage.com.
