The atmosphere was friendly and warm because of the laid-back lack-of-pretense attitude that the staff possessed. It felt a lot like walking into a simple family-owned restaurant – which is exactly what it is! Once you’ve had the chance to eat at Uberti, you would wish that you have found it sooner. The recipe wasn’t out of this world but it’s definitely something to remember by because of how homemade it felt and tasted. We had a plate of fish that was so big that it was tremendously difficult for me to finish it on my own. Grilled to perfection, of course. Every single bite was heaven to me.

The clams were also huge and fresh. The freshness of the food at Uberti is indisputable….absolutely unquestionable. Lacking in environment and good lighting, it, however, made up for everything else by having the staff and owner walking up to us asking, ‘How’s the food? Are you enjoying yourself?’ It really made us feel important. This is not something you would get in celeb-worthy cities like Florida or New York.

Uberti, if I had to put it down to a target group, I would say is a place made for seafood lovers. If the scallops and shrimps were any fresher, they would be flipping around on your plate, frankly.

It’s sad that I could not find much information about them on the internet – perhaps this is something they should work on because I feel that more tourists should be aware of how amazing their food is. Like I said, it’s not fine dining and pictures of the place probably isn’t going to impress anyone; however, even with that said, they should have a website or a blog (at least) which would bring in the tourist and holiday-goers.

Most importantly, Uberti is clean, well-staffed with friendly waitresses and offers a reasonable menu which inexpensive food. It’s definitely one of those must-visit diners.
