Old Town - San Diego, California

If you’re ever in San Diego for a bus tour holiday, remember to make a bus tour stop at Old Town. Yes, as the name suggests, there’s quite a bit of history here but that, apparently, is not what Old Town is all about. Old Town of San Diego is more like a place for shoppers and drinkers. But we think it’s a really nice bus tour attraction to make a stop at nevertheless. Everything is within easy walking distance, like, the guys who are not into shopping can take to one of the many bars at this San Diego bus tour attraction while everyone else who wants to grab a last minute souvenir can definitely find something unique here.

As far as history go, Father Serra first established his first mission here more than two hundred years ago and Kit Carson helped raise the first American Flag in Old Town as well. However, even with that kind of history, Old Town is the kind of San Diego bus tour stop that will thrill the kids and shopaholics more than the men. As far as Mexican food is concerned, we’ve got raving reviews. There are around more than forty restaurants in Old Town that you can make quick stops at offering different types of food while you can get artsy stuff or gifts at the shops.

Well, another good news is that there’s no entrance fee for making a bus tour stop at this San Diego attraction, so, if you don’t wish to spend too much money here, you can just make a bus tour stop for a quick walk-around instead and spend nothing. Take home with you lots of pictures of San Diego’s Old Town.

Some of the museums they have here are pretty hard to find but you should do OK with the many maps of the place everywhere. If you make a San Diego bus tour stop at Old Town during the weekends, you might catch their weekend free entertainment ranging from staged cowboy shootouts to dancing to live band performances. Of course, if you have the stomach for scary stuff, take the Ghost Tour Trolley – only if you’re not the squeamish kind.

Old Town is the perfect place for budget holiday-goers, so, if you are ever in San Diego, be sure to make your way to 2383 San Diego Ave, San Diego, CA 92110-2835. For more information, call +1 619 291 4903, email otsd@aol.com or visit http://www.oldtownsandiego.org
