Minnehaha Park And Falls (Minneapolis)

The name itself might bring about a few 'haha's but the place is quite another story. It's so beautiful that once you've been there, you would want to go there again – regardless of whether you have a readily-available Minneapolis charter bus rental package. Being me, of course, I have this part of the trip down pat.
There is close to two-hundred acre worth of land to frolic in and as expected, there were many families (some foreigners but mostly locals) enjoying a relaxing, stress-free evening out in the park. The many trees provide for wonderfully convenient shades, so there was no need for us to go hunting for one nearby whenever the sun got too hot. The Minnehaha park and waterfall is not only a park and waterfall, as the name suggest...there are lots of other activities to do here.

We spotted a picnic area that we dearly wanted to use, but we were ill-equipped. And then there was a tight little area for disc golf. In another corner, we thought we spotted a tennis court and also a horseshoes corner. The most beautiful park about the trip here was the jaw-dropping waterfall.

It's surreal! The air is fresh, and the sound of the water beating heavily against the rocks was lulling as much as it was exciting. We're not talking about your conventional waterfall, folks. This is a fifty-three foot one that comes crashing down from way over up there!

Not surprisingly, with the kind of scenery you get at Minnehaha Park and Waterfall in Minneapolis, it seems to be an extremely popular destination for weddings. There were a few couples we spotted having their photographs taken...against the backdrop of the waterfall, of course. Where else should it be?

The other interesting thing to do in Minnehaha Park is to rent a bike and just bike around the place. You can get the bike rentals from Wheel Fun Rentals, very cheap thrill, I'll have to tell you but it is fantastic exercise and perhaps, even a great time to help the kids learn how to ride a bike.

Not into the outdoor thing? Well, how about snapping pictures of the Chief Little Crow sculpture? There are several other structures, statues and sculptures for the artistic mind here although we thought running around in the greens, free a bird, is one of the most amazing things to do in Minneapolis.

For convenience's sake, remember to get your hands on a good Minneapolis charter bus rental package to go with the holiday. Costs a little, maximize the fun. It will be worth it!
