The Warehouse (Hartford CT)

Someone once said that there was nothing to see and do in Hartford CT but after a group trip there with a bunch of friends who were ready to take a break from their everyday work grind, I beg to differ. Sure, it is not as bright and funky as Los Angeles and definitely not as up-to-speed as New York but laid-back it is.
The people in Hartford CT knows how to chill and amazingly, we did not know that we were lacking in THAT department until we went there. It is like....chilling in the middle of the day, chilling after work, and then chilling all the way to midnight. It is simply amazing. One of the best places that we have been to during our Hartford CT charter bus rental trip was to hit a local night spot called The Warehouse...which is a warehouse turned into a grooving night spot. You don't see a lot of tourists here because it is not one of those mainstream night clubs or pubs but let it be known that you can hold and host a fantastic party here and feel like you don't want it to end.

Given the small space, I would say that the dance floor needs some widening. It was a night of elbowing each other all night long if you fancy dancing. What I honestly liked about The Warehouse is that it is not a tourist attraction, not the conventional kind. It is a night spot for grooving. End of story.

And you don't have to dress yourself to the nines to come have a good time. Almost everyone we saw in there were in their t-shirts and jeans. No sandals but at the very least, you get to party in comfortable clothes.

The people here are really into the whole DJ-ing scene...at least the ones in The Warehouse. They had a special room for entertainers and DJ's (I think) that we were not allowed into but when one of them popped behind the DJ counter and start spinning, everything simply fell away. It was just some really good spinning as they blended and played smartly with tunes and beats all night long.

The Warehouse in Hartford Ct, is a poorly managed venue. Do not book your shows there. You will regret it.

Hartford sounds like a great place to chill and I would to check out the Warehouse DJ scene.
