The Drive Home – Huron River

When things are working at the speed of light, even during your travel experiences, then it is time to slow things down with a little bit driving. Detroit is an incredible place but there is only so much partying, dancing, drinking, shopping and eating that one can do. You get wind-up and it is not a good thing for vacationers.

And that is where taking a drive along Huron River will do wonders. It is very relaxing, long and languid, stress-less, peaceful and calm. Staring out of the window, gazing in wonderment of the stunning Huron river and knowing that life is what this is all about, it kind of change your life. At least for a while. When you head back to the downtown center, you look at things differently then.

The journey along Huron river starts from a wildly beautiful naturally forested and swampy area in Detroit and because of its condition, it is left mostly untouched. The ride would take you on one-hundred and thirty over miles of gorgeous surrounding.

Huron river, as I will have you know, is like a mother to many lakes as the water that flows through it feeds the lakes. During our trip, we managed to stop at these lakes. The feeling is amazing! Of course, if you don't want to drive yourself and you are doing this in a group, needless to say, you would be better off using Detroit charter bus rental services. They are not as expensive as you think. Just head over to US Coachways Inc. and get a hassle-free quote from them.

Anyway, the lakes that we stopped at was Ford Lake and Belleville. If you have kids with you during the drive, I think it warrants stops at the amazing parks. They are HUGE so, the kids are going to have countless acres of land to run, scream, play and be free.

Well, the thing is that it IS hard to keep kids occupied during such long drives and they might have trouble keeping still, so, these stops are really quite necessary. For the kids AND the grownups. You can't just drive by such beautiful places and not stop to enjoy them.

In a way, we are thankful that settlers and developers have not made a move to touch them yet. Until they do, a drive through along River Huron serve as one of the most amazing ways to get in touch with nature all over again. You can trust me on this one.

For affordable Detroit charter bus rental services, give US Coachways Inc. a call right now and dial 1-877-873-1838.
