Bella Piazza Winery (Near Sacramento CA)

Sacramento CA's got it good. Why? With all-year-round fantastic weather made perfect for traveling, outdoor activities, charter bus travels and....of course, hitting the wine trails, It makes for the perfect weekend getaway for wine lovers.

Since charter buses rental packages covers most parts of the country and across states, we decided to get our hands on Sacramento CA charter bus rental services  to take us from New Jersey all the way to Sacramento. It really is better than flying – and much more affordable too! There was little doubt in our minds that Sacramento would be full of wonderful wineries, we just didn't know which ones to go to first.

Based on a recommendation from one of our friends who regularly organizes wine trails, we picked Bella Piazza Winery which is a winery tucked up in a charming corner of the city. When we looked out of the window, the first thing we saw was Sierra Foothills.

What a gorgeous sight!

From the concrete jungle of New Jersey to the naturally-beautiful Sierra Foothills – you've just got to love the feeling you get when you feel transported to another place...or time.

It was a very European feel, in all honesty. After all, it's Shenandoah Valley. There's another winery close by, a sister winery, called Villa Toscano. The view was astonishing, the wine was good, service was superb and of course, we had a splendid time in the Tasting Room where regular wine tasting is organized. Accordingly, Bella Piazza is one of the few wineries in the country to ever come up with a premium wine label known as Montepulciano.

A wedding here at Bella Piazza? We reckon it is possible because as we looked around, we saw that the winery came with its own Event Center and on the business card, the word 'catering' was printed boldly. Well, the event center seems like a nice choice for business events and corporate functions too.

Right before the sun set, each of us grabbed a glass of our preferred wine and sat outside on the lawn. Slowly, we sipped, chatted and waited for the egg-yolk-like sun to sink down behind the hills.

Now, THAT, is the perfect end to the most amazing day we've ever had.

By the way, please do follow us on Twitter. We share lots of wonderful quotes, announcements, links, news and everything fun with our followers. A quick 'like' on our Facebook page would be nice too!
