Riverfront US Title Powerboat Race Cancelled

Those who have been to Connecticut during October will know that one of the most exciting event in Connecticut will be the Riverfront US Title Powerboat Race. However, with much disappointment, the event was cancelled earlier this month because of extensive flooring along the river. Enthusiasts who had been training all year long for this event have had to face the disappointing news bravely.

However, we feel that we need to feature the event here to remind enthusiasts that despite it being cancelled this year, there is always 2012 to look forward to. Every year, since 1998, fans and friends will not hesitate to gather along the event venue for some fun and sun, enjoying the electrifying atmosphere to offer their support to those participating in the regatta. As it is, we are getting quite a number of calls for our Connecticut charter bus rental services because of this event and we have had to deliver the cancellation news to them.

Do not be disheartened by the news, just remember to book your Connecticut charter bus rental package early for the event next year. Keep your head up and let’s look forward to a doubly-enjoyable Powerboat Race next year.

The bus from Springfield, MO will likely be naisspg right by St. Louis, MO. Is there any way it could pick up riders in St. Louis? Springfield is about 5 hour drive from me, and adjoining states such as IL, Indiana, and Arkansas also have pick-up sites in cities 5-6 hours from my location near St. Louis. I don't mind driving some distance, but March may have freezing rain and snow, which could prevent riders from making a 5-6 hour drive to meet the bus, resulting in a low turnout at the Rally, the last thing organizers want. St. Louis is also in a central location of the country, which could be convenient for other potential riders in the Mid-West.
