Artificial Reef Act As Amazing Tourist Magnets

With their more laid-back lifestyle, one would think that the locals’ favorite activity would be something along the lines of shopping, dining and partying till the wee hours of the morning. That can’t be further from the truth. The truth is that Fort Lauderdale folks love their sports as much as anyone else in the country.

Hence, there is a never-ending number of sporting venues to choose from. So, if you are a hard core sports fans and you are going to be here in Fort Lauderdale during the festive season, this news could be the one extra reason for you to cheer.

There is an artificial reed program here launched and maintained by the Broward County’s Environmental Protection and Growth Management Department. These reefs were built in an effort to act as tourist and money magnets while providing an alternative for scuba diving enthusiasts. Currently, there are more than a hundred different artificial reefs that our Fort Lauderdale charter bus rental customers can pick from. The artificial reefs also managed to create new habitats for new marine life, it’s astonishing.

Heading out to Fort Lauderdale in a group and looking for a good, affordable Fort Lauderdale charter bus rental package to get you to your preferred artificial reef? Give us a call right now at 1-855-BUS-CHARTER.

I have to agree that it is a total tourist magnet, the Ft Laud govt should be really greatful for nature's help in this way. I love the reefs...any reef..anywhere in the world
